History

Storm’s cardboard action figure power is a string that pulls her up to the top of her stand and locks so she can remain in flight. Hook and loop fasteners hold the string and it wraps around the stand. The flight stand wire is looped at the top and bottom to hold the string.

I thought of building some lightning into her forearm that would fold out but never completed it. I used that idea for Psylocke later. That would have been a better design since her powers are controlling the weather and not just flying on the wind. 

She has unique arm capes that I was able to attach to the pins in her shoulders so they rotate independently. Like most of the X-Men collection, the artwork for her was inspired by Jim Lee.

The 5 inch ToyBiz action figure that came out at the time was a repaint of her X-Men black costume with a light up lightning bolt. The 10 inch version was much closer to her costume in the comics.
